TradesKnow is an AI reference tool for tradespeople. We do not license anyone, authorize work, or train on your job data.

Your work stays yours.
Private job records, emails and crew conversations never train the shared AI. They also stay out of shared knowledge and evaluation datasets. Using Field and contributing verified expertise are separate choices.

You choose when to contribute.
Expert contributions require verified credentials or experience, permission, and review. Accepted contributions receive a record of credit. You choose how you are attributed: by name, by a handle, or anonymously.

Every perspective can help us improve.
Homeowners, apprentices, and building managers can point out missing information and report what happened. That feedback can guide expert review. Member submissions never become model training data, and selecting a role in the app does not make someone a verified expert.

Recognition today. A partnership model in development.
Our goal is for tradespeople to share in the value they help create. We record accepted contributions now so that history is preserved as the partnership model develops. Contribution credit is a record of accepted work. It does not currently carry a payment, ownership stake, or guaranteed financial return.

You have a separate choice about robotics.
Our vision includes future systems that can help machines do physical work. Permission to use expert knowledge for robotics training is separate and optional. You can decline it and still use the product and contribute eligible knowledge for other permitted purposes.
A shared chat has a clear boundary.
Nico uses messages and records shared in that conversation. A person’s private Nico history, email and other jobs remain separate. Before inviting someone, check the history and records they will be able to see. Only share information you are authorized to disclose.
Nico participates when called on. A recap is an AI draft; it does not certify the work or turn a suggestion into a group decision. Language support does not replace checking names, numbers, units and technical terms.
