Four goals. One loop.

  1. Give the Trades the AI tools to succeed today
  2. Build the best AI model trained by the Trades
  3. Give the Trades a meaningful part in the AI revolution
  4. Develop a new generation of Trades and AI entrepreneurs

Goal 1

Give the Trades the AI tools to succeed today

The first priority is practical tools that help tradespeople run stronger businesses. Prepare for jobs. Find reliable technical information. Build complete estimates. Document work. Explain options to customers. Protect the value of their time.

The tools should fit the working day. Speaking a job note or taking a photograph should complete useful work with less administration. If the trades model does not have the answer yet, we still get you one so you never have to leave the tool. Owners should see missed scope, incomplete records, and chances to improve service. The business keeps its identity, customer relationships, and independence.

We judge success by whether people choose TradesKnow because it saves time, improves their work, or helps the business perform better.

Goal 2

Build the best AI model trained by the Trades

The ambition is the world’s best AI model for the Trades — built on verified expertise, improved by the people who understand the work. Their judgment, explanations, corrections, and confirmed outcomes teach how real construction and service problems are solved.

Every question we cannot yet answer from the trades model is a collection target, not a dead end. A larger model can cover the gap today. The context you add from the job is how the trades model owns that answer tomorrow.

Everyday business records and member observations stay outside model training. Member data never trains. Verified experts can separately contribute authorized knowledge through a reviewed process, with credit recorded for every accepted contribution. Better AI begins with trustworthy knowledge.

Goal 3

Give the Trades a meaningful part in the AI revolution

The people whose expertise helps build TradesKnow should have a role in its direction and an opportunity to participate in the economic value they help create. Partnership should be tangible: recognized contributions, a voice in the platform, and clearly defined benefits.

The goal is a transparent partner program for individual technicians and business owners — people here now and people who join later — that recognizes valuable expertise, verification, mentoring, and sustained involvement. The program’s specific benefits and economic participation terms remain to be developed. Monetization is deferred. A ledger credit is a receipt, not a payout.

My knowledge helps build this company, my business benefits from it, and I have a meaningful opportunity to grow with it.

Goal 4

Develop a new generation of Trades and AI entrepreneurs

A young person who wants to become an electrician should see a path to mastering the craft, building a business with AI, and helping shape TradesKnow itself. The same path should exist in plumbing, HVAC, and the other Trades.

Connect practical trade education and apprenticeship with AI skills, mentorship, and business learning. New entrants learn to use and evaluate the tools. As they develop verified expertise, they can become teachers of the AI. Experienced tradespeople preserve their knowledge, mentor the next generation, and keep contributing to the industry’s future.

Hands-on mastery and professional qualifications remain essential. AI adds new ways to apply that expertise and build opportunity around it.

How the four goals reinforce each other

No one is left behind should guide how we build: accessible tools, support for people new to technology, respect for different languages and experience levels, and opportunities for employees as well as owners. TradesKnow should help every generation of the Trades take part in shaping its future.
